Renatus offers a range of fixed and adjustable benches to three standard designs. All benches are made to order to ensure that you get exactly the stool that meets your requirements. Bespoke designs can, of course, be undertaken to suit your requirements.
Two of the fixed height bench styles can be provided with a music compartment under a lift-up lid.
All of the parts, including the ends, panelling, rails, lid and mechanism are from solid wood - oak for the main parts, beech for some of the parts of the height adjustment mechanism. Alternatively we can offer other woods, such as Mahogany to suit your needs. Prior to manufacture we can supply colour samples to match with the existing woodwork; you can see some wood sample colours on the Oak Colour Samples page.
Prior to manufacturing all dimensions need to be checked with you to ensure that the bench clears the pedalboard and that the height is correct. On adjustable benches the handle can be fitted on either the left or the right of the bench. Please refer to the drawings below.

Prices shown here are for orders placed during 2023. Prices are shown ex-works, delivery cost will depend on area but can often be carried out on a 'when in area' basis within the mainland UK; collection from our workshop is always welcome. Prices are shown in UK Pounds Sterling. VAT inclusive prices include VAT at the current UK rate of 20%.
Delivery times are generally around 12-16 weeks though this can vary depending on the workshop's schedule. Contact Us for a current estimate of delivery time.
Should you wish to place an order, our terms of payment would require a 30% deposit with your order with the remainder payable prior to delivery. We would issue a deposit invoice upon receipt of your order confirmation and provide details of the final amount due, including any delivery charge, prior to despatch.
